Piotr Henryk Skarżyński, MD, PhD, MSc

Deputy Head of Teleaudiology and Screening Department in the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, Director of Science and Development in the Institute of Sensory Organs and Didactic Assistant in the Medical University of Warsaw.

Specialist in ENT, pediatric ENT, audiology and phoniatrics, and public health. He is an active participant of national and international conferences with over 2488 presentations and posters, 208 round tables, and an instructor on 216 international courses. Author and co-author of 1306 scientific publications in specialist national and international journals.

Participated in the 3rd Stakeholders Consultation meeting during which the World Hearing Forum of WHO was announced. A member of the Roster of Experts on Digital Health of WHO, Board Member and Institutional Representative of International Society for Telemedicine and e-Health, President of International Advisory Board of American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Vice-President of Hearring Group, member of the Facial Nerve Stimulation Steering Committee. Member of Hearing Committee (2018–2019), Goodwill Ambassador representing Poland at the AAO-HNSF 2021 Annual Meeting & OTO Experience, and since 2021 a member of Implantable Hearing Devices Committee and Otology & Neurotology Education Committee of AAO-HNS and more.

Awarded with over 100 distinction for scientific, didactic, economic, social and other activities, both individual and as a team.
