We present the Panelists of the second ESG Congress:

Stanisław Barański

Director of the Office of Sustainable Development and Energy Transformation at ORLEN S.A. Responsible for, among others: for the decarbonization strategy and sustainable development strategy of the ORLEN Group. Previously, director of the Strategy and Analysis Department at PKN ORLEN.

Dr Henryka Bochniarz

Founder of the Lewiatan Confederation, the largest organization of entrepreneurs in Poland, and the Academy of Women Leaders. Co-founder of the Women’s Congress. Former Minister of Industry and Trade, philanthropist, supports equality and diversity among management staff.

She is the Chairwoman of the Main Council of the Lewiatan Confederation, the founder of the Academy of Leaders, the co-founder of the Congress of Women and the founder of the Prymus foundation supporting young people from rural areas.

Krzysztofa Bełz

Experienced manager of the ESG strategy team, specializing in the implementation of sustainable development and ESG strategies in international corporations. He has extensive experience in creating and implementing CSR strategies, sustainable development, dialogue with stakeholders, as well as in building cooperation with clients and suppliers in the ESG area, in accordance with international standards. Her professional experience covers both the financial sector and the FMCG industry. He has implemented projects related to the implementation of international standards for reporting and auditing non-financial data according to the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative. She also conducted external certifications regarding the implementation of sustainable development standards and was responsible for developing CSR risk assessment policies in sensitive sectors. She introduced ESG culture and created a network of ESG Ambassadors. She regularly shares her knowledge and experience as a speaker at postgraduate studies in the field of sustainable development at the Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics.

Sebastian Bykowski

He manages the largest company in Poland providing comprehensive media monitoring services, media reports and consulting, awarded with the title of Business Gazelle in 2011 and 2015 and the Forbes Diamond in 2022. Co-founder and chairman of the supervisory board of CafeNews S.A. Graduate of Poznań University of Technology in Management and Marketing and Poznań University of Economics in Economic Law.

He built the first analytical company in Poland, Media Navigator, with a modern approach to media relations reporting. He still participates in the creation and development of analyses and methods of measuring PR effectiveness. He gives presentations at congresses, conferences and workshops devoted to PR, management, media, sports and marketing.

Maciej Chojnowski

Co-founder and Program Director of the Center for Ethics of Technology at Humanites Intitute. Author of the first popular introduction to responsible AI in Polish (“Etyka sztucznej inteligencji. Wprowadzenie”). Member of the Program Council at the Working Group on AI (GRAI) at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland, where he runs a project on practical realisation of AI ethics requirements according to the Ethics by Design approach. He worked as editor at the first non-commercial Polish portal on AI and digital technologies: sztucznainteligencja.gov.pl, where he covered issues of AI ethics and law.

Katarzyna Dubno

Public Affairs, ESG & Market Access Director in Adamed Pharma S.A. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, she has completed postgraduate studies at the French Institute of Management and Strategic Leadership Academy at the ICAN Institute.

She has worked at Adamed Pharma since 2010. She is responsible for the company’s global activities in the area of: Public Relations, Public Affairs, ESG, as well as the development and implementation of the reimbursement strategy for Adamed Pharma products.

She is a Co-founder and Member of the Management Board of the Adamed Foundation, whose flagship programme is ADAMED SmartUP, a programme for young people gifted in exact and natural sciences. She is the Vice President of the Management Board of the Polish Association of Pharmaceutical Industry Employers – Medicines for Poland. At the Polish Business Roundtable, she is the PBR Board’s Proxy for Promotion of Entrepreneurship. She is a Member of the Advisory Board for Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility of the Maria Grzegorzewska University and a Member of the Business Council of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. In 2023, she was selected one of the 50 most influential women in the health care system in Poland by the “Rynek Zdrowia” website.

Beata Dziekanowska

For 20 years associated with the Italian automotive industry, thanks to which she gained experience in all areas of communication and fell in love with beautiful and fast cars.

She spent 9 years in Italy, in Piedmont – the heart of culture, motoring, slow-food, Barolo wine, truffles and Nutella cream, working at the Fiat Group Headquarters, where she had the opportunity to meet many fantastic people, places and monuments and see that Italy is for women. they are only good for holidays. In 2016 She became the first woman member of the Management Board of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, and has served as vice-president there for 3 years. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Main Council of the Lewiatan Confederation, where she previously served as a Member of the Management Board of the Association of Automotive Employers. Since 2020, she has been the Head of the Institutional Relations and Corporate Communication Department at the Ferrero Group, where she replaced her affection for cars with a passion for good chocolate, healthy eating and promoting sustainable consumption. Within the organization, she also serves as the Ambassador of Diversity and Inclusion in Poland, committed to promoting equality and preventing social exclusion.

David Evangelista

President & Managing Director, Special Olympics Europe Eurasia. David Evangelista is an expert in the areas of building government relationships and global partnerships to support marginalized populations. He is responsible for the growth and development of the Special Olympics movement across 58 nations across Western, Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. David also serves on the Advisory Board of the Division of Multilateral Diplomacy for the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the London School of Economics’ The Inclusion Initiative Diversity and Productivity Committee.

He was a founding member of the Sports Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA), and a former member of the High Level Group on Sports Diplomacy for the European Commission. He has also served as a guest speaker and presenter for the United Nations, European Union, and a range of civil society organizations on issues related to international development, global affairs, disability, and government relations.

Damian Flisak

Independent expert in the regulation of cutting edge technologies with a special interest in generative artificial intelligence, expert in the field of intellectual property law and professional advice on the regulation of cutting edge technologies (AI public policy), doctor of law (Ludwig and Maximilian University of Munich),  attorney-at-law with several years of practical experience in litigation, an author of opinions on national and EU legislative projects, a sworn translator of the German language. Author of many lectures and numerous academic publications in the field of intellectual property law and the law of cutting edge technologies. Lecturer at the National School of Judges and Prosecutors, the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Warsaw School of Economics, the Leon Koźmiński Academy and the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology.

Ryszard Hordyński

Director of Strategy and Communication, Huawei Polska. He has over 20 years of professional experience, gained both in design and management work in large structures. He worked for consulting, telecommunications and IT companies, as well as in government administration and for State Treasury companies. In 2019, he joined Huawei Polska, where he serves as the Director of Strategy and Communication. Previously, he served as Managing Director at PFRN, member of the board of Critical Applications and plenipotentiary of the Minister of Development and Finance for computerization. For 7 years he worked at A.T. Kearney, where he implemented a number of projects in the telecommunications, infrastructure and media industries. For 7 years he was the Director of Technology Strategy and Director of Strategy and Architecture of IT systems at Orange Polska.

Karolina Hytrek-Prosiecka

Gazeta.pl journalist. Journalist dealing with economic and political issues, associated with TVN television for over 10 years. Former news reporter for the Polish branch of the world’s largest channel devoted to economics – CNBC. She regularly prepared materials for the main edition of Fakty TVN. Currently, he is the host of the series “Morning conversation” on gazeta.pl and “Studio Biznes” on gazeta.pl. Member of the jury of the national “Podcast of the Year” competition. Trainer of good communication.

For several years, she functioned outside active journalism and was responsible for communication in the largest company in Poland organizing professional football games. The team she runs received the Sports Business Award for the first time in history for dynamic social media. She conducted work related to the communication of women’s sports as part of the media working group at the Women’s Sports Commission of the Polish Olympic Committee (PKOL). She managed one of the largest information portals in the healthcare industry. Scholarship holder of the Department of State as part of a prestigious program for women entrepreneurs.

Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna

General Director of the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce (CCIFP). She has over 20 years of experience in supporting the development of French investors in Poland, as well as strengthening the strategic economic partnership between Poland and France. Since January 2023, she defines the activities of the CCIFP as its Director General. During her time at the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce, she has developed relations with the public sector and has developed the activities of Sectoral and Thematic Committees, which, among experts, prepare proposals for solutions aimed at facilitating business in Poland. Together with the CCIFP team, she was responsible for preparing the French presence at the biggest Economic Forums in Poland as well as the French Polish Economic Forum with the presence of French and Polish Presidents. Joanna Jaroch-Pszeniczna is also the President of the Board of the International Mediation Centre operating at the bilateral chambers in Poland, as well as a member of the Trade Sectoral Framework.

Katarzyna Kala-Kowalska

He is a manager with over 20 years of experience, currently as Managing Director of Poland West at DS Smith Polska. As a member of the DS Smith Team for many years, he has successfully implemented the company’s goals in Eastern Europe, including Poland, and previously, among others: as managing director in the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia).

He specializes in organizational transformation and change management, building and supporting committed teams that achieve great results. Thanks to the continuous process of learning about (changing) customer needs, it introduces improvements in corporate and business processes. He willingly uses modern management methods based on continuous improvement in the “infinite game” of the market.

Katarzyna Kala-Kowalska is a graduate of the University of Warsaw with an MBA degree. She also completed the Global Leadership Program at Said Business School at the University of Oxford.

Łukasz Krasoń

Trainer, motivational speaker, and committed activist and social activist. Currently Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Disabled People.

Previously he also worked, among others, as a sustainable development specialist or CSR expert in many corporations. Expert at the Strategie 2050 Institute, where he leads a team working for the environment of people with disabilities. Together with the Institute, he created the document Pełnoprawni, which shows a model of thinking about supporting this social group.

Stefan Krajewski

Secretary of State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw, postgraduate EU Common Agricultural Policy studies at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, and postgraduate MBA studies. Active member of the Polish People’s Party.

Aleksandra Kowal

The CSR Manager at Hasco-Lek, serves as the coordinator of the Sustainability Reporting Team (ESG). Associated with the Hasco Group since 2016, responsible for activities related to corporate social responsibility, including the development of employee volunteering and stakeholder relationship management. Also involved in the area of communication and public relations. Coordinates the activities of the Hasco-Lek Foundation, creating strategies and programs for it.

Educated as a sociologist, she has been involved with non-governmental organizations for many years. She has many years of experience in project coordination within this field, certified internationally for this skill. She has coordinated European projects for years, provided advice on establishing foundations and associations, animated local communities, and conducted training and workshops on the functioning of NGOs.

Radosław Kozieja

Cogit CEO. He has over 25 years of experience in the use of IT systems to support the management of the biggest companies. He has managed Cogit (formerly Codec) in Poland for over twenty years. He dealt with issues associated with the practice of assisted decision-making, controlling, finance and management, inter alia with the use of artificial intelligence and analytical systems. Since the beginning of his career tied to the problems of Performance Management and Business Intelligence application issues. He participated and led consulting projects and the Performance Management and Business Intelligence implementation in Poland and Ireland. Graduate of Computer Science and Management University of Technology in Wrocław.

Krzysztof Krystowski

Manager in the aerospace and defense industry. He specializes also in issues related to economic innovativeness and competitiveness. He is the general manager of Northrop Grumman for Poland. Currently he is the President of the Polish Clusters Association and the Silesian Aviation Cluster. Previously, he was appointed as the President of the Board and Managing Director of PZL-Świdnik, and he was the Vice-president of the Leonardo Helicopter Division. He was also president of Polski Holding Obronny. He was vice-president of the Employers of Poland, vice-president of the European Clusters Alliance, and a member of the Main Council of PKPP Lewiatan, the National Ecological Council to the President of Poland, as well as the Industry and Defense Council to the Minister of National Defense. From 2004 to 2006, he was chairman of the Council of the FIRE “Innovation Center” Foundation dedicated to helping small and medium-sized innovative enterprises. From 2003 to 2006 he served as Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Economy, Labor and Social Policy. He was responsible, among other things, for the competitiveness and innovativeness of the economy and supervision of research and development units.

Pamela Krzypkowska

The Deputy Director at the Ministry of Digital Affairs, spearheads Poland’s responsible digitalization in the AI and emerging technology era. Formerly, she excelled as an AI Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, driving flagship projects for Enterprise clients in Poland. Her expertise encompasses MLOps, ML model development, and working with generative models. Additionally, she shares her knowledge as a lecturer at Koźmiński University and Warsaw University of Technology.

Przemysław Kulik

Director of the CSR and Sustainable Development Reporting Office and Social Officer in the ESG Committee of BGK

Social responsibility and sustainable development manager with experience in corporations, start-ups and NGOs. He successfully managed projects and teams in building and developing socially engaged ventures. In the period 2006-2016, he worked in marketing and corporate communication of the PZU Group, in recent years as the CSR Coordinator, also managing the PZU health programs support team. Then he was responsible for the strategy and development of the St. Christopher Oncological Hospice Foundation, and later the oncological foundation “Find Help” (formerly United Way Polska), as well as for building the social entrepreneurship of both foundations.

He is a graduate of social policy at the University of Warsaw, political sociology at Dalarna University in Sweden, doctoral studies in economics at the Warsaw School of Economics, and postgraduate studies in corporate social responsibility at Kozminski University and project management at the Warsaw School of Economics.

At Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (Polish development bank) he is the Director of the CSR and Sustainable Development Reporting Office and Social Officer in the ESG Committee of BGK. He is also an academic lecturer at KU, CUE and SGH in the field of ESG, integrated reporting and corporate social responsibility.

Marek Kuzaka

Graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw. He has been involved in the outdoor advertising industry since its beginnings in Poland. Since 2003, Vice President and since 2011 President of the Management Board of AMS S.A. – the leading out-of-home (OOH) advertising agency in our country. Manager of the largest ever Polish PPP project for the construction and maintenance of street furniture in Warsaw. An expert in industry legal solutions. Member of the Council of the PPP Centre Foundation and of the Programme Council of the PPP Leaders Forum. Partner of the Association of Polish Town Planners. Member of the ‘Pro Bono Leaders’ coalition and the chapter of the ‘Man of Knowledge and Experience’ Award as well as the Employers’ Council at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Warsaw. Awarded the Golden Cross of Merit for his contribution to the creation of civil society.

Przemysław Litwiniuk

Member of the Monetary Policy Council. Habilitated doctor in social sciences. Academic teacher at the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Department of Finance). Specialist in the field of legal and financial instruments of development policy, common agricultural policy of the European Union and public finances. Legal advisor, member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Lublin.

In the years 2002-2022, councilor of the Biała Podlaska district and councilor of the Lublin Voivodeship.

Agata Molisz

CSRinfo consultant and expert, PhD in law, lecturer, trainer, internal auditor in financial institutions. He specializes in ESG data analysis, implementation of ESG strategies and policies, and non-financial reporting. Author of publications on ESG. Member of the Due Diligence Working Group, established as part of the Team for Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility, which is an auxiliary body of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy.

Daniel Moczulski

Is responsible for the strategic business development plan and the management of sales channels, as well as the business development of LONGi Solar in the Europe-Poland&Baltics region. For many years, he has been involved in the photovoltaic industry and the development of efficient products for intelligent energy management. He has extensive experience in the large-scale PV project segment. He has worked, among others, for GoodWe, introducing the brand and its products to the markets of Central and Eastern Europe. Previously at E.ON, where he was responsible for building and product strategy in the renewable energy segment. He was responsible for CSR activities and educational projects at the RWE Foundation in Poland. He is a graduate of prestigious project management courses at the EY Academy of Business.

Saba-Gabrielle Moussa

I worked for Green Flag Insurance, then for the Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and later started my career at Bradford Council, where I managed a project on disability, especially sensory needs. In 2008 I was seconded to the Trade Union, working at corporate level looking after the directorates of Adults Services, finance and HR. In 2017 I returned to work for the LA and was offered the role of a compliance officer for the Immigration and Asylum Unit. The service support destitute migrants who cannot access mainstream benefits. I became a Brexit specialist and activist for UNISON (trade union) representing European workers with 3 million. In 2019, I joined UK Butterflies / Edu smart to support our communities on various issues related to their immigration status. I chair the No Recourse to Public fund regional forum, the strategic Destitution meeting on behalf of the Local Authority. In 2021 I graduated from the Future Leader scheme which has led me to become a trustee of a community centre delivering various initiative to reduce inequalities in our neighbourhood.

Adam Niewiadomski

University professor at the Department of Agricultural Law and Food Protection System, Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw; Head of the Department of Agricultural Law and Food Protection System at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw; habilitated doctor of legal sciences; doctor of humanities in the field of linguistics; political scientist; Legal Counsel; in the years 2012-2019, assistant professor at the Department of Administrative and Legal Problems of Management, Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw; in 2012-2015 he completed a postdoctoral internship at the National Science Center at the Faculty of Law of the University of Białystok.

Sebastian Ogórek

Head of wyborcza.biz and the economic editorial office of “Gazeta Wyborcza”. Previously, a long-time journalist working, among others, for “Puls Biznesu”, Polish Radio and Wirtualna Polska. He was also the editor-in-chief of the money.pl website and the host of the program “Money. It counts”. Winner of journalistic awards, including: Awards Marian Krzak awarded by the Polish Bank Association. Nominated for the Grand Press in the reportage category and for the PAP award. Ryszard Kapuściński.

Karolina Opielewicz

Member of the Board of Directors of Polish Chamber of Commerce, Director of the Office of Communications and Business Development.

She started working at Polish Chamber of Commerce in 2008 as assistant to the President. In the following years, she managed the Office for Local Government and Statutory Affairs, while also serving as Director of Protocol in the Office of the President. In 2012, she became director of the combined offices of communications and member affairs, and in 2016 became Deputy Director General of PCC. By a vote of the General Assembly, in 2021 she became a member of the Board of Directors responsible for the areas of communications, member affairs, the Court of Arbitration and the Targowa Creativity Center.

She is a graduate of School of Foreign Languages in Poznań, with a degree in English Philology, and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, with a degree in Law and Administration. 2021, she completed postgraduate studies in Finance for Managers at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

Filip Osadczuk

Management Board Representative for ESG at PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Director of the Investor Relations and ESG Department. Has been with the company for over 9 years. Previously gained experience in, among others, the consulting industry. He has contributed to the strategic projects related to PGE’s energy transformation and their communication. Directly involved in dialogue with domestic and global investors, rating agencies and banks. In the international Institutional Investor survey awarded for leading the best investor relations team in Poland. He also serves as the Secretary of the Sustainability Committee, a PGE body with a leading role for the Group’s sustainability and ESG activities.

Marcin Piasecki

Managing Editor, commentator, publicist – “Rzeczpospolita”, “Parkiet”. He worked, among others, in “Gazeta Wyborcza” and the economic magazine “Profit”. The first editor-in-chief of the Polish edition of “Forbes”, deputy editor-in-chief of “Dziennik” and “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”. Editor-in-chief of the economic supplement to “Dziennik” – “The Wall Street Journal Polska”.

Host of the TV programs Rzeczpospolita TV, Polsat News. Host of the radio broadcasts. Leading Moderator – conferences, debates, panel discussions.

Ilona Pieczyńska-Czerny

An expert in regulations related to sustainable development, particularly European taxonomy and sustainable development reporting standards. She participates in projects and conducts trainings in this field. She is involved in global initiatives within the PwC network on sustainable development reporting.

Prior to joining PwC, she worked at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, where for 10 years she was the Director of the Department responsible for overseeing issuers in the reporting area.

She supports and co-creates the best practices for the capital market. Ilona is a member of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Warsaw Stock Exchange preparing the DPSN2021 collection. She chairs the Ethics Committee established by the Chamber of Fund and Asset Managers. Alongside a group of experts within the Polish Institute of Directors Foundation, she co-created a set of best practices for audit committees (DPKA2021). She is a co-author of commentaries on the capital market and the author of press publications.

Michał Purol

Expert in global value chains and building adaptation strategies and socio-environmental resilience.

Chief Sustainability Officer at UNEP/GRID-Warsaw, where he is responsible for projects related to the triple planetary crisis, as well as sustainable cities. Until recently, coordinator of the Climate Leadership and Re:Generacja-Together for Ecosystems programs. He is responsible for cooperation within TNFD, Business for Nature, CLG Europe, and UNEP FI.

Ambassador of international projects: EU Climate Pact, Max Thabiso Edkins Climate Ambassador Program, Climate Possitive Rotterdam ERASMUS Program and member of working groups on biodiversity and food chains of the UNFCC. Involved in dialogue and as a trainer in the field of resilience, among others. for countries such as Uganda, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Kenya.

Aleksandra Przegalińska

Aleksandra Przegalinska  is an Associate Professor and Vice-President of Kozminski University, responsible for International Relations and ESR as well as Senior Research Associate at the Harvard Labour and Worklife Program.  Aleksandra is the head of the Human-Machine Interaction Research Center at Kozminski University, and the Leader of the AI in Management Program. Until recently, she conducted post-doctoral research at the Center for Collective Intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston. She graduated from The New School for Social Research in New York. She is the co-author of Collaborative Society (The MIT Press), and Strategizing AI in Business and Education (Cambridge University Press) published together with Dariusz Jemielniak.

Aleksandra Robaszkiewicz

In Lidl Poland since 2013. As Head of Corporate Communications &CSR, she is responsible for coordinating activities in the area of external communication, corporate social responsibility, internal communication and PA. Previously, she dealt with PR, SoMe and training for healthcare sector units.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, the Poznań University of Economics and the Medical University in Poznań.

Rafał Rudzki

Since 2021, he has been the ESG Director at the Żabka Group and is responsible for defining and implementing the responsibility strategy (ESG). For the last several years he worked for IBM, PwC and Deloitte – supporting enterprises in Poland and internationally in the transformation of business processes, with particular emphasis on the strategic management of non-financial factors – ESG. At Deloitte, from which he joined the Żabka team, he coordinated the development and provided consulting services in the ESG area in 19 countries of Central Europe. Rafał is a graduate of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Erasmus Universiteit in Rotterdam and the University of Cambridge. He is involved in social activities and is a member of the board (Council) of the Association of Polish Economists.

Piotr Henryk Skarżyński

Deputy Head of Teleaudiology and Screening Department in the World Hearing Center of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, Director of Science and Development in the Institute of Sensory Organs and Didactic Assistant in the Medical University of Warsaw.

Specialist in ENT, pediatric ENT, audiology and phoniatrics, and public health. He is an active participant of national and international conferences with over 2488 presentations and posters, 208 round tables, and an instructor on 216 international courses. Author and co-author of 1306 scientific publications in specialist national and international journals.

Łukasz Szeliga

President of the Polish Sports Association for the Disabled”START” since 2013 and of the Polish Paralympic Committee since 2015. First Pole in the European Paralympic Committee Board.

Paralympian from Nagano, Salt Lake City and Turin (1998-2006), alpine skiing coach, coordinating coach of the Polish team for the Paralympic Games in Sochi (2014), sports manager. Member of the Social Sports Council. Graduate of, among others, the Krakow University of Physical Education, the Jagiellonian University and the Academy of Special Pedagogy. Animator of close cooperation between the Paralympic and Olympic movements, as well as with the scientific, business and media community. Initiator of events aimed at all people regardless of disabilities. Propagator of accessibility of sport for all as an instrument for equal opportunities, better understanding of diversity and inclusion of people at risk of social exclusion.

Wojciech Szeląg

Made his journalist debut in the local tv news program in 1992 in Gdańsk, his hometown. Between 1992 to 2021 he held various positions in Telewizja POLSAT in Warsaw: a publisher, host, reporter and head of business programs. 2021 Wojciech Szeląg passed to internet joining business news editorial office of Interia.pl (part of POLSAT Group).

Karol Tokarczyk

Senior analyst for the digital economy in the Policy Insight team. He was a journalist at the Informacyjna Radio Agency of the Polish Radio, where he reported on the most important economic and business events. He is a graduate of history and postgraduate studies in Mechanisms of Eurozone Functioning at the University of Zielona Góra.

Piotr Wachowiak

Rector of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Head of its Institute of Management. Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Organisational and Management Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Deputy Chairman of KRUE (Conference of Rectors of Economic Universities) and Chairman of KRUW (Conference of Rectors of Warsaw Universities). A graduate of the Faculty of Domestic Trade at SGPiS (legal predecessor of the SGH) in the field of organisation and management. Involved in business practice for 29 years: his roles included Deputy Director of the Management Board of the Żoliborz District in Warsaw and the Chancellor of SGH. He specialises in CSR and people management in organisations. An author and co-author of academic publications on topics such as HR policy, measurement of intellectual capital and knowledge management in enterprises, as well as negotiations and CSR.

Anna Wardecka

Sociologist with extensive professional experience in the HR field. Anna is a forerunner of Personnel Controlling and EX at PZU Group. As an author, inventor and ambassador she has been involved in numerous projects. Her specialization lies in the analysis of HR processes, assessing their effectiveness, identifying, and recommending development directions in the area of human capital management. She develops and implements remuneration policies, including dedicated bonus systems tailored to individual business lines and professional groups. She tracks competitiveness and trends within the remuneration and benefits domains, formulating innovative solutions that impact costs and enhance efficiency. She engages in negotiations with trade unions regarding remuneration policies and rules governing remuneration. She is a member of the Program Council of the C&B Club at Lazarski University and the Management Board of the Polish Human Resources Association.

Marcin Wiącek

The Commissioner for Human Rights (Human Rights Ombudsman) since 2021. Professor at the University of Warsaw. He holds the degree of habilitated doctor in law. Head of the Human Rights Department of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. He specializes in constitutional law and human rights.

Since 2019, he has been a professor at the University of Warsaw. In 2003–2007 he worked in the Constitutional Tribunal. In the years 2007-2021 he was employed at the the Jurisprudence Division of the Supreme Administrative Court. In the years 2014–2018, he was a member of the of the Prime Minister’s Legislative Council.

Tomasz Wróblewski

CEO Warsaw Enterprise Institute. Journalist and publicist. Creator of such titles as “Newsweek Polska” and “Forbes Polska”. He started his professional career in the United States. After graduating from the University of Houston, he cooperated with Newsweek and the Washington Post. He was a correspondent in Washington for Radio Free Europe, and after 1989 for independent Polish media. He created, among others, the Washington Bureau of RMF radio.

After returning to Poland he was successively: the director of the RMF antenna, deputy chief of “Wprost” then, chief of “Newsweek Polska” and “Forbes”. Vice President of the publishing house “Polskapresse”. Subsequently he became the editor-in-chief of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” and “Rzeczpospolita”.

He lectured at Collegium Civitas. He was a co-host of the program “Ekonomia raport” in Telewizja Republika, and hosted an economic programme “Rządy pieniądza” in Polish Radio 24. Currently he is running his own podcast “Wolność w remoncie”.

Fabrizio Zucca

Fabrizio Zucca holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and a degree in Political Science from Milan State University. He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of SSC srl, a consulting company specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, Compliance, and Risk Management. Additionally, Mr. Zucca has served as a member of numerous boards of directors and supervisory boards within both publicly listed and privately held enterprises.

Since 2014, he has held the position of Academic Fellow at Bocconi Business School, and as of 2019, he has assumed the role of a member of the Scientific Committee and Coordinator of the Sustainability Lab at Eurispes. In 2020, Mr. Zucca became a part of the Anti-Corruption Task Force Working Group at the Italian Anti-Corruption Authority, and in 2022, he joined the Amcham Working Group on Sustainability.
